She brings with her a deep love for Jewish life and three years of experience working with students at Hillel UGA, where she built vibrant, welcoming spaces for connection and celebration. Rabbi Joshua Jacobs

Josh Jacobs is the assistant rabbi at B'nai Jeshurun, and incredibly excited to join the Bridge family. He earned his BA in Jewish Studies at Emory, but mostly spent his college experience doing improv. Y'know, like a responsible person. He has always had a passion for story-telling, and after writing for television and realizing that all of his episodes were thinly-veiled d'var Torahs, he enrolled in rabbinical school and hasn't looked back. He has since traveled to Siberia to officiate a joint bar/bat-mitzvah for a large group of intergenerational Siberian Jews, worked as a student hospital chaplain in 2020, and joined leadership cohorts including Wexner and Hartman. Josh is dedicated to social justice work and living a life in conversation with God. He met his wife, Rabbi Alex, at Ziegler Rabbinical School, and followed her home to Cleveland, which he now considers to be home, too. They have a dog, Tula, who will jump on you but means well.
