What is The Bridge?

The Bridge is Downtown Cleveland & the Near-West Side’s non-Jewish-guilt community. We’re made up of hundreds of young professionals who live, work, and play in Cleveland.

Our Mission

The Bridge’s mission is to engage the Jewish Community of Cleveland where they are at geographically, Jewishly, emotionally, and socially. We seek to create barrier-free entryways to Jewish life for young Jewish professionals specifically living in Downtown Cleveland and the Near-West Side. We strive to be a “non-Jewish-guilt” organization, which means that we always welcome everyone to our events without any feelings of guilt, no matter how frequently or infrequently participants attend our events.

What We Do

  • Happy Hours

  • Shabbat Clusters

  • Jewish holiday celebrations

  • Social events

  • Networking opportunities

  • … and so much more!

“The Bridge is such a unique program in that it really provides an integral platform for young Jews living in Cleveland and the West Side to network, practice shared values, and truly have fun together! I’m so grateful for The Bridge and the new Jewish community I’ve been able to have through it. From kayaking, to Shabbat dinners, to baseball games, The Bridge offers so many opportunities to connect with your Jewish identity while also making new friends!”
